Appalachian Log and Timber Homes has set the standard for expertise and knowledge of log and timber structures. We employ experts in not only building the traditional log home, but also providing knowledge of all wood species and care. We work with multiple species of wood, but we specialize in Hem-Fir, Douglas Fir, Eastern White Pine, Cypress, Oak, Western Red Cedar, and Reclaimed barn wood.

Each one of our homes, no matter if it is a custom or one of our standard plans, is individually cut and numbered in our mill. This is in order to provide ease in building and to reduce building cost. Once cut, we deliver all over the US and internationally to meet your regional building codes and specifications.

In today’s climate challenges, it is more important than ever to be ecologically responsible and we strive to do our best. We only work with sustainable forests that replant and replenish the timbers we use. Also, our exclusive paneloc wall system is a superior energy saving and a more environmentally friendly alternative to conventional fiberglass.
