We Erect What We Sell

Unlike many other companies, We at Appalachian Log and Timber Homes don’t just sell you a log, hybrid or Timber Frame package, deliver it to your job site and after the last set of material is unloaded, say “Good Luck“.

We have dedicated and experienced crews who will arrive after the package is delivered and will erect the exterior shell known as a “Dry-in”. This erection consists of (1) erecting the log, hybrid or Timber Frame walls, (2) setting ceiling beams, (3) constructing any dormer or gable end walls, and (4) installing the heavy timber roof components. Our crews have (1) the heavy equipment, (2) erection resources and (3) intimate knowledge of the construction process to erect you Appalachian Log and Timber Home.

Once the site work, foundation and subfloor are prepared and installed by your contractor, the Appalachian Crew constructs the heavy timber members of your home and finishes out constructing the home “shell”.

The pictures below illustrate this process.
