In celebration of Appalachian's 25th anniversary five years ago, we introduced an even more authentic "rustic" style. This new look is similar to the Traditional log profile still using the 40 foot Western Hemlock timbers, but we slightly changed the bevel on the dovtails which allow the logs to be stacked revealing a 2 inch chink joint instead of the Traditional 4 inch chink joint.
