Or Dov Loc system offers the same authentic appearance as our Traditional system for those who prefer the comntemporary "log on log" style of construction. It's our versatile log wall system which gives you a variety of log milling styles and a custom look to suit your personal tastes.
Our Dov Loc walls are similar to Traditional log walls, with half dovetail joints at the corners. The tops and bottoms, however, are milled with a double tongue and groove joint, locking the timbers together with a double strip of butyl tape and log screws every two feet.
This innovative design allows for a strong and tight-fitting log wall, but eliminates the need for chinking joints. Dov Loc can be milled to your preference with or without a cosmetic chnik joint, or V-grooved. Ask your Appalachian representative about Dov Loc milling options.
